About WooCorps

WooCorps is a program that was established by the College of Wooster in the summer of 2009 to help students find summer jobs during the economic crisis. Students employed through WooCorps are offered a place of residence on the College campus, as well as complimentary breakfast and lunch. Modeled after the The Civilian Conservation Corps (Also known as the CCC.)
The WooCorps program hopes to foster relationships between students and the community as members of WooCorps contribute to improving the campus at large. Engaging in primarily young adults in community service, training and educational activities.
