If you haven’t been out to see the progress of the victory garden, make sure you set aside some time to do so. The plants are pretty much exploding in terms of their growth. There is also a nice sign marking the area.

The Underground (UG) is sponsoring a Summer Happy Hour from 4 pm to 6pm on Thursday, June 25. All C.O.W. students, faculty and staffon-campus this summer are welcome to come. There will be AMAZING specials, great music, and a great opportunity to hangout after a long days work! Remember to bring your COW Card and valid state ID. Hope to see you there!

Join SWEET CONVERSATIONS at Overholt House for discussion and dessert this Thursday from 7 to 8pm. This week we’ll be discussing the role that religious rules play in our life (good, bad, or otherwise) and the way our perceptions of these rules shade our personal beliefs–all while enjoying homemade chocolate chip cookies and ice cream!

Saturday, June 20th, there will be a Campus Dive In Movie! (Namely because we moved the outdoor movie/ hot dog roast inside due to weather) at the PEC pool at 8pm, there will be Hot dogs, tofu dogs, popcorn, candy, sodas/water for all. We will have inner tubes for you to relax on while enjoying a classic movie–Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Tuesday, June 23rd at 4pm WooCorps Student Meeting (required for WC crew members currently on campus) Lowry Ballroom. WooCorps Meeting with a spaghetti dinner to follow. Doorprizes too!
Thursday, June 25th from 4-6pm, there will be Staff Happy Hour at the UG for WooCorps crew members and supervisors. Join us for the fun!! We’ll have doorprizes!! Also, Saturday June 27th, Akron Aeros Game! We will do a sign up at the Tuesday meeting for 50 free tickets.

Remember the diversity workshop you attended at New Student Orientation, and the short film starring College of Wooster students? Would you like to contribute to the updating of that film and see yourself on the big screen?
Dean Susan Lee and colleagues will be filming student interviews about diversity at Wooster on the evenings of Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Student volunteers are needed to make this work, so if you are interested, please sign up.
The sign-up sheet will be available in the Dean of Students Office, Galpin Hall First Floor. The student at the front desk will assist you. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Dean Susan Lee at Ext.2545 or by e-mail at slee@wooster.edu.

Last week at Sweet Conversations we started our discussion series with a great conversation about our perceptions of God. This week we’re continuing with a new topic: Good, Bad, Indifferent - Come share your experiences with religion. We’ll also be having homemade strawberry cheesecake! Sweet Conversations is not based in one religious tradition but is open to students of all or no faiths. Join us in UnderOver, the lower level of Overholt House, from 7-8 pm Thursday Hope to see you there!

“GOD”: WHAT DO YOU PICTURE? - Join us Thursday from 7-8 in UnderOver to discuss this topic over brownies and ice cream! Sweet Conversations meets weekly this summer for students to discuss faith and spirituality and enjoy some delicious desserts. All students are welcome! UnderOver is in Overholt House, the Office of Interfaith Campus Ministries, located on Beall Ave. north of Wayne Ave.

On Saturday, June 6th from 8-11pm there will be Night Swim at Freedlander Pool! Additionally, There will be a College of Wooster Family Picnic on June 8th, so invite the folks to come on down. There will also be a WooCorps Roast on June 20th, so set your calendars for Hot Dogs, corn on the cob and Marshmellows! Finally, on June 27th, set your calendars for Take Me Out to the Ballpark! (or College of Wooster Night at the Akron Aeros!) There will be 70 free ticket passes, so make sure to take advantage of that!
