If you haven’t been out to see the progress of the victory garden, make sure you set aside some time to do so. The plants are pretty much exploding in terms of their growth. There is also a nice sign marking the area.
Congratulations on all the progress thus far to those maintaining and working on the garden!
On Tuesday June 23 all available WooCorps members were asked to gather to discuss where the program has come and where it will be going in the coming months. The energy was noticeably high, and door prizes were handed out that included gift certificates to Wooster area restaurants.
On Saturday June 20, many WooCorps members also gathered to watch the classic film, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” in the PEC Pool at night. It was great to see a large turnout, and I managed to grab some photos of the event (as well as the meeting). Enjoy!
I need to apologize. I know we promised to have a completed video from the slip ‘n slide, but most of the footage will have to wait until the final release of video from the end of the summer.
However, so our loyal readers aren’t too upset, we have posted clips to the Flickr site.
Thanks to the College’s Office of Information Technology, we have a Flickr site. While you are likely to see a lot of the same photos that appear on this blog, you will see even more photos on Flickr. For example, whereas there are about 13 pictures on the blog from the slip ‘n slide last Friday, the Flickr page has 37!
Check it out here! Make sure you bookmark it, and watch for changes!
First, I hope that everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend, and is taking time to remember those who have served and those that continue to serve our country.
We understand that some folks are having difficulty viewing the videos. The problem appears to be related to Internet Explorer Versions 7 and 8. Links have been added underneath the videos so that you can watch them if they do not appear in the posts. All other browsers, as well as older version of Internet Explorer should work.
We will continue to work towards a solution in the meantime, but this temporary solution should help.
